Getting apostrophes wrong December 29th, 2011 0 Comments

Even with a ragingly post-modern view on grammatical correctness, you’d probably agree there are one or two clangers here. (19 or 20 if you take this sort of thing seriously.) But despite the obvious … ahem … typos, what really gets us hot under the collar is the seemingly innocuous little scratch after the word camera.

For Petes [sic] sake, why do people keep getting apostrophes wrong?

HGV’s seem to be making their way onto highway signage at an alarming rate. CD’s and DVD’s are flying off the shelves faster than ever. And nobody is batting an eyelid.

If you’re ready to discuss your copywriting project then we’d love to hear from you.
